Eligibility Criteria: Before applying for any of these positions, it’s important to ensure you meet the eligibility criteria set by Sainik School Kodagu:
Educational Qualification:
| Art Master (Contractual) – (i) Graduate with Fine Art/ Art/Drawing/ Painting as one of the subjects with minimum 4 years Diploma from a recognized institute/ University OR Master’s degree in Fine Art with Painting/Sketching Specialization. Desirable (i) Minimum 02 years teaching experience in the subject. (ii) Attainments in Arts and experience of handling children with affection will be preferred. (iii) Good communication skill in (English & Hindi) languages. (iv) Additional qualifications i.e. residential institution life style would be given preference. |
| Band Master (Contractual) – Potential Band Master / Band Major / Drum Major Course at the AEC Training College and Centre, Panchmari OR Equivalent Naval / Air Force Courses. Desirable. (i) Minimum 3 years Teaching experience as Band Master in any reputed institution. (ii) Graduate in Music OR Higher Secondary with a degree or diploma in music from any recognized institution. (iii) Having proficiency in Games / Sports and other extra co-curricular activities / hobbies. (iv) Additional qualifications i.e. residential institution life style would be given preference. |
| Warden (Contractual) – Should have passed Intermediate or equivalent and should be able to converse fluently in English. Desirable (a) BA/B.Sc./B.Com Degree (b) Attainments in Sports / Art / Music (c) Minimum 3 years of experience of handling children of age group 10-18 years with affection in any residential school (d) Knowledge of Computers & Typing (e) Maintenance of Housekeeping Records (f) Working experience at Sainik School Kodagu / Residential Public Schools |
| PEM/PTI-cum-Matron (Female) (Contractual) – Should have passed Intermediate or equivalent and should be able to converse fluently in English. Desirable. (a) BA/B.Sc./B.Com Degree (b) Attainments in Sports / Art / Music . (c) Mature ladies without encumbrances and with minimum 3 years of experience of handling girl children (age group 10-18 years) with affection will be preferred. (d) Knowledge of Computers & Typing (e) Maintenance of Housekeeping Records (g) Relevant working experience at Sainik School Kodagu / Residential Public Schools. |
Age Limit : The Age limit for all the posts above varies from 18 to 50 years based on the respective post. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.
