SSC CGL Tier I Examination 2016

Staff selection commission examination for Combined Graduate Level is conducted every year to select the n number of graduates to fill up the vacancies with various departments of State government. Registration links were opened up for this examination for the year of 2016 till 24th March 2016.

Latest Graduates Jobs

Exam dates were scheduled at 8th ,22nd May 2016. Many of the candidates who have issues on the last date of the registration, will lead to extension of the registration up to 30th March 2016. As the examination will be on 2 months, candidates who have registered have provide so much effort on covering the syllabus which described before. At that time a new change in syllabus was introduced in the mean while the examination date was postponed to end of August 2016 .

SSC Tier I CGL 30th August Exam Analysis

SSC CGL Tier I examination is the most expected examination as because of the change of examination patterns. Each of the preparing candidates and coaching institutes are waited eagerly to see the implemented change of patterns from this year. Examination duration was changed to 75 minutes and examination is conducted in online mode for the very first time instead of OMR sheet. Sectional cut off is cancelled and question paper provided in bilingual languages. Total Number of questions are reduced from 200 to 100 and descriptive test was also added in Tier III of selection. So each of the mark is very important such that the final merit list(Tier I + Tier II+ Tier III)is based on all the three Tier Examination.

As the most expected examination conducted as per the schedule on 30th August 2016. Examination which conducted are contented the questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension. with each of 25 questions with maximum mark of 50.

SSC CGL Tier I 30th August Shift I Shift II Shift III Questions

30th August 2016 is the fourth day of the SSC CGL Examination. Examination was conducted as three shifts. Candidates who have attended the examination is of same amount as on previous days. Contented questions on each section is differ and the overall difficulty of the examination is stated as moderate.

General Intelligence and Reasoning Analysis

As it is the first part of content which questioned as 01 to 25, this part is quite easy one as per the views of the candidates who have attended. 20 to 22 questions can be easily attended by the candidates. Questions from the sections such as given below overall for all the shifts. Overall analysis of this section is on easy level. Most concentrated topics covered here are the Number Series and Alphabet series, other topics such as Paper cutting, matrix, picture diagram, analogy are just breezed over in overall.

Quantitative Aptitude Questions Analysis

Quantitative Aptitude is always a toughest part to be solved. It need quick solving capability to do. Questions were stated as Easy to Moderate level in this section. Most of the questions are from the Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Bar chart, Mensuration, Trigonometry, Number series, Geometry, Speed and Distance, Average etc. Questions on geometry and trigonometry are little difficult with good preparation candidates can attend 16 to 19 questions easily.

English Language Questions Analysis

As the questions are contented from pure language based. the questions difficulty was moderate even specifically from Easy to Moderate level. Sentence Correction, Error Detection, Spelling check are in easy level. Some of the topics such as One word substitution, Idioms/Phrases, Reading comprehension, fill up , Antonyms and Synonyms are difficulty.

General Awareness Section Analysis

As it is a vast paper, any questions can be asked with this section. No syllabus can enclose this topic, Most of the questions are from the recent events. some questions from the subjects such as History, Geography, politics, Economics, General Science. Current Affairs are asked with recent questions which termed as easy level.

Overall Examination analysis is of easy to moderate level. A good preparation will led the candidate score up to 70 and above easily. Some questions which asked frequently in all the three sets are given in link below.
