Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for SSC JE Recruitment 2023, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification: Applicants should possess a degree or diploma in engineering in the relevant discipline (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical) from a recognized university or institute.
Age Limit: The age of the candidates should be up to 30 years as of the closing date of application. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules
Salary: Selected candidates will be offered a competitive salary and pay scale as per the 7th Pay Commission rules. The salary for Junior Engineer positions in SSC varies based on the location and department of posting, but it generally ranges from Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month.
Selection Process: The selection process for SSC JE Recruitment 2023 consists of two stages:
Computer Based Examination (Paper-I & Paper-II)
Document Verification (DV)
Paper-I (Computer-Based Test): In this stage, candidates will be required to appear for a Computer-Based Test (CBT) that will assess their technical knowledge and general aptitude. The CBT will consist of objective-type questions.
