Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria for the TANUVAS Field Laboratory Attendant Posts are as follows:
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) –
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science or Graduate/Post Graduate degree in professional course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC, NET, including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Desirable Qualification and Experience: Preferences will be given candidate who has experience in Molecular Biology, Virology, Immunology and bioinformatics including next generation sequencing analysis.
Field Laboratory Attendant –
Essential Qualification: High School or equivalent
Desirable Qualification and Experience: Experience in assisting post mortem sample collection from suspected cases in animals, washing of glasswares / general cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipments, handling of animals for animal trials
Age Limit: The age limit for the candidate should be between 25-27 years. Age relaxation will be given to the reserved category candidates as per government norms.
Salary: The selected candidates will be paid a salary of
- Field Lab Attendant – Rs. 39,370/- per month
- Field Laboratory Attendant – Rs. 15,800/- per month
Selection Process: The eligible candidates will be called for written test and interview by mail / phone and are requested to bring the original filled in application with one set of photocopy of qualification and experience and other testimonials (support of age, qualifications, Publications, awards, training / seminar attended and experience certificate).
