TN post office recruitment GDS educational qualification 2022 :-
Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard having passed in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of GDS.
Compulsory knowledge of Local Language:
• The candidate should have studied the local language i.e. (Name of Local language) at least up to 10th standard [as compulsory or elective subjects].
Knowledge of Cycling:
• Knowledge of Cycling is a pre-requisite condition for all GDS posts. In case of a candidate having knowledge of riding a scooter or motor cycle, that may be considered as knowledge of cycling also.

The age limit for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak as fixed by the board to make application is mentioned below. The candidates who are willing to apply can check the minimum and maximum age limit as follows:-
Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) :
Minimum age: Minimum age for all the candidates is 18 years
Maximum age: Maximum age for all the candidates is40 years

The salary fixed for the posts in this recruitment as mentioned in the official notification , is given below. The candidates who will be selected after the recruitment process, will be placed under this pay scale.
• BPM : For this post, the salary is Rs.12,000/-
• ABPM/Dak Sevak : For this post, salary is Rs.10,000/-
TN post office recruitment GDS recruitment process 2022:
The selection process of this recruitment , includes two stages. Upon completion of these stages the candidates will be places under positions in the postal department of Tamilnadu. The two stages are :-
1. Merit List
2. Certificate Verification
Merit List :
• The candidates who have applied for this recruitment will be screened/ shortlisted in the first stage based upon the merit list. This merit list will be prepared on the basis of the SSLC Standard mark. The candidates who have topped the merit list will be shortlisted and screened to next stage.
The candidates are advised to enter the correct details of themselves and the mark they have obtained in the examination with utmost care.
Certificate Verification :
• The candidates who have been shortlisted in the first stage, will be invited for document verification. Candidates are advised to carry all the required documents without fail and dressed in a formal attire. Being Done with this stage , if the candidate is found to be appropriate, then he / she will be selected.

• Go the official website of Tamilnadu Postal Department.

• Then you will be provided with the registration number.
• With the registration number, you will be opted to choose the post that you are eligible.
• You should add 5 preferences in terms of location.

The candidates who are willing to apply for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak should pay the application fees as prescribed in the official notification. The details of the application fees is given below:-
• The application Fee of Rs.100/-(Rupees one hundred only) is to be paid by the applicants for all posts notified in the chosen Division.
• The payment is to be done in online mode only.
