| (i) Paper–I Subject Paper (Degree Standard – 200 questions each) One of the subjects as follows:(a) Agricultural Engineering (code No. 280) (For those who studied Agricultural Engineering)
or (b) Basics of Engineering (code No. 230) (For those who studied Mechanical, Civil, Automobile, Production and Industrial Engineering)
(ii) Paper -II General Studies (Code No-003)(100 Questions) General Studies (Degree Standard) – 75 Questions and Aptitude and Mental Ability (SSLC Standard) – 25 Questions.

Note
(i) The Questions in Paper-I will be set in English only and Paper-II ”General Studies” will be set both in English and in Tamil.
(ii) The applicants who have not appeared for any of the paper in the written examination will not be considered for selection even if they secure the minimum qualifying marks for selection.
(iii) The syllabus for the subjects Paper-I (Subject Paper) and Paper-II (General Studies) are available in Annexure-II to this Notification.
(iv) Refer para 22 of “Instructions to Applicants” in regard to Instructions to be followed while appearing for competitive Examinations conducted by the Commission
