TNPSC Assistant Jailor Posts Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2023: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts various exams for recruiting candidates for different posts in the state government. One such exam is the TNPSC Assistant Jailor Exam. The TNPSC Assistant Jailor Exam 2023-2024 will be conducted to fill the vacancies for the post of Assistant Jailor in the Tamil Nadu Prison Department. TNPSC Assistant Jailor Selection Procedure: Selection will be made in single stage. The selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the applicants at the written examination, subject to the rule of reservation of appointments. The applicant who has not appeared for any of the Papers in the written examination will not be considered for selection, even if he/she secures the minimum qualifying marks for selection

TNPSC Assistant Jailor Exam Pattern 2023-2024:

The TNPSC Assistant Jailor Exam 2023-2024 consists of two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Paper 1: Subject Paper (Degree Standard) – 200 Marks

Paper II : (Total 200 questions)

Part-A : Tamil Eligibility cum Scoring Test (SSLC Std)

Part-B: General Studies.

The duration of each paper is 3 hours. Both the papers will be conducted in offline mode (OMR Based).

Exam Pattern For Assistant Jailor Posts -TNPSC

  • TNPSC Answer sheets of Paper-I and Part B of Paper II of the candidates will not be evaluated, if the candidate does not secure minimum qualifying marks in Part-A of Paper-II.
  • The questions in Paper I and Part–B of Paper-II will be set both in Tamil and English.
  • The candidate should appear for all the papers in the written examination for his / her answers to be evaluated and in case the candidate absents himself / herself for any of the papers, the paper attended will not be evaluated.
  • If answers of a candidate for one paper is declared deemed not fit for valuation, the answers of the candidate for the remaining paper will not be evaluated.
