Tnpsc assistant public prosecutor recruitment educational qualification 2021:
The Qualification and a experience a candidate should acquire to apply for the post of assistant public prosecutor is given in the official notification. The details of this qualification is mentioned below:-
• Must possess B.L. degree
• Must be a member of the Bar
• Must possess adequate knowledge of Tamil
Experience:
• Must have had active practice in criminal courts for a period of not less than five years.
Note :
• The qualification prescribed for the post should have been obtained by passing the required qualification in the following order of studies: 10th + HSC or its equivalent + Bachelor’s degree as required under Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016. Results of the examination should have been declared on or before the date of notification. (Section 20(4)(iv) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016).
Tnpsc assistant public prosecutor recruitment age limit 2021:
The candidates who wish to apply for this recruitment should meet the age limit criteria according to their belonging categories :-
1.SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBC(V)s, MBCs and DNCs, MBCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all categories :
• No age limit
2.Others [i.e. candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBC(V)s, MBCs and DNCs, MBCs BC(OBCM)s and BCMs]
• Should not have completed 34 Years
Note :
• No age limit means that the candidates should not have completed 60 years of age.

The pay scale paid for the Assistant public prosecutor in Tamilnadu general service is level 22. The details of salary according to revised scale is as follows:-
• Assistant public prosecutor : The Salary is Rs.56,100 – 1,77,500 (Level 22 ) .
Tnpsc assistant public prosecutor recruitment selection procedure 2021:
The process of recruiting a Assistant public prosecutor is of three stages. The candidates will be shortlisted in each stage and the final merit list will be prepared based on their performance. The three stages of recruitment are :-
• Preliminary Examination :
The Preliminary Examination will be held for all the candidates who have applied for the post of assistant public prosecutor. This examination will be held and shortlists the Candidates to next stage
• Main Examination :
Main Examination will be conducted only for those candidates who have been shortlisted through preliminary examination. The main examination will be of descriptive type.
• Interview :
A oral test will be conducted for candidates who have been through main examination . This will be conducted for 60 marks as final stage of recruitment.
Tnpsc assistant public prosecutor recruitment exam pattern 2021:
The exam pattern and the marks split up of three stages i.e. preliminary, main examination and interview is given below:-
• Preliminary Examination :
The preliminary examination will be of 4 sections. This will be objective examination of degree standard. The sections included are,
1. Law I – 20 questions
2. Law II – 20 questions
3. Law III – 20 questions
4. Law IV – 20 questions
Total – 100 Questions
Each section will carry 20 questions and each section will contribute 20 marks giving a total of 100 Marks. The time duration for preliminary examination is 2 hours.
• Main Examination :
Main Examination will be of descriptive type. It is divided into PART & PART B. In Part A, it has four sections,
PART A :
1. Law I – 100 Marks – 3hours
2. Law II – 100 Marks – 3hours
3. Law III – 100 Marks – 3hours
4. Law IV – 100 Marks – 3hours
Total – 400 Marks
All the sections will contribute 100 marks giving a total marks of 400 Marks. Each section will be held for 3 hours duration.
PART B:
• Interview will be held for 60 marks in the form of an oral test.
MAIN EXAMINATION:
PART A : 400 Marks
PART B : 60 Marks
Total : 460 Marks

The fees details to be paid by the candidates for this recruitment is given here. The fees payment is accepted only through online mode.
• Registration Fees :
Registration Fees is Rs.150/-. This is one time registration fess valid for 5 years for candidates. Linking Aadhaar number with one time registration is mandatory for all the candidates.
• Preliminary Examination Fees :
Preliminary examination fees is Rs.100/- , this is to be paid by all the candidates who have applied for this recruitment examination.
• Main examination fees:
Main examination fees is Rs.200/- , this is to be paid by candidates only who have cleared prelims and have been admitted to write the main examination . This fees is to be paid later

• Candidates belong to Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars), Scheduled Tribes communities, Persons with Benchmark Disability & Destitute Widow of all categories are fully exempted from Examination fees
