For the year 2017, TNPSC has announced 494 vacancies for Village administrator officer posts in ministerial services. The recruitment board has announced the official notification from the month of January 1st week itself. . Because of SSLC as a minimum qualification, large number of candidates are applying for the post yearly and it is possible to increase in competitors for this year. The minimum age required for the candidates is 21 years for all the category. Upper age relaxation limits will be liable as per the government rules. Eligibility Criteria For TNPSC VAO Recruitment 2017
Educational Qualification
Candidate should have completed SSLC/Matriculation passed or equivalent from the recognised board. Candidates studied in local language Tamil will be given a preference.
Age Limit
- For SC/ST/PHD Candidates the minimum age limit required is 21 years and there is no exemption for maximum age.
- For UR/BC/MBC and other category candidate must possess minimum age of 21 years and maximum age of 40 years.
- Upper age relaxation will be given as per government rules.
Application Fee Details
There will be a onetime fee registration of Rs. 50 for all candidates who are applying for the first time.
- For General, Unreserved category the application fee for examination will be Rs.75.
- For SC/ST/SC A/Destitute Widow/Physically Handicapped there will be no fee.
Salary Details for TNPSC VAO Recruitment 2017
Selected candidates will be offered a pay scale of Rs. 5200 – 20200 as Basic Pay with grade pay of Rs. 2400.
Selection procedure
The examination will be done on two level.
- In level I candidate have to undergo Written Examination.
- In level two, the selected candidate for Written Examination will have to attend an interview process.
