The State of Uttarakhand came into existence on 09th November, 2000 under the Reorganisation of Uttar Pradesh Act 2000. At present the strength of the Commission is the Chairman & the Six Members. It shall be the duty of the Union and the State Public Service Commissions to conduct examinations for appointments to the Services of the Union and the State respectively. The candidates will be selected based on Mains examination, preliminary examination and interview process. The candidates who have cleared the written examination must possess a certain cut-off marks as informed earlier by the recruitment board. There will be cut-off marks in category wise. Candidates under certain category can view their eligible cut-off marks and confirm their qualification. Candidate who have cleared the examination and does not having qualified cut-off marks are not eligible for the next process.
