• National Defence Academy – Army -208 (including 10 for female candidates)
• National Defence Academy – Navy- 42 (including 03 12 for female candidates)
• Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme) – 25 (including 07 for female candidate)
• National Defence Academy – Air Force

(i) Flying – 92 (including 02 for female candidates)

(ii) Ground Duties (Tech) – 18 (including 02 for female candidates)

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the UPSC NDA II Recruitment 2023, candidates need to fulfill certain criteria. Here are the details.

Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India, Nepal, or Bhutan.

Age Limit: Only unmarried male/female candidates born not earlier than 02nd January, 2005 and not later than 1st January, 2008 are eligible.

Educational Qualification:

For Army Wing of National Defence Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy : 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Salary Details: Stipend to male/female Cadets during the entire duration of training in Service academies i.e. during training period at IMA and OTA – Rs 56,100/-p.m.* (Starting pay in Level 10). On successful commissioning, the pay in the Pay matrix of the Officer commissioned shall be fixed in first Cell of Level 10 and the period of training shall not be treated as commissioned service and arrears on account of admissible allowances, as applicable, for the training period shall be paid to cadets.

Selection Process: The selection process for the UPSC NDA II Recruitment 2023 consists of the following stages:

Written Examination: Candidates need to appear for a written examination conducted by UPSC. The exam will consist of two papers: Mathematics and General Ability Test.

Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test

Medical Examination: After clearing the interview, candidates will undergo a thorough medical examination to assess their medical fitness.

Applicants who opt for “Pay by Cash” mode should print the system generated Pay in-slip during Part-II registration and deposit the fee at the counter of SBI Branch on the next working day only. “Pay by Cash” mode option will be deactivated at 11:59 PM of 05.06.2023 i.e. one day before the closing date. However, applicants who have generated their Pay-in slip before it is de-activated may pay at the counter of SBI Branch during banking hours on the closing date. Such applicants who are unable to pay by cash on the closing date i.e. during banking hours at SBI Branch, for reason whatsoever, even if holding a valid Pay-in-Slip will have no other offline option but to opt for online Debit/Credit Card/UPI Payment or internet Banking Payment mode on the closing date i.e. till 6:00 PM of 06.06.2023.
