Eligiblity Criteria For UPSC Recruitment 2022

Archivist (General) in National Archives of India Master’s Degree in History with a paper in Modern Indian History from a recognized university or institute. Diploma in Archives and Record Management from a recognized university or institute and two years’ experience in an Archives Office in supervisory capacity or research or teaching of Modern Indian History at under graduate level in a recognized institution or university; OR  Three years’ experience in an Archives Office in supervisory capacity or research or teaching of Modern Indian History at under graduate level in a recognized educational institution or university. English as one of the subject of study at degree level. Diploma or Certificate in Computer Applications or Information Technology. Certificate of proficiency from a recognized university or institute in foreign or other Indian languages besides candidate’s mother tongue. 30 years
Specialist Grade III (Pediatrics) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, (102 of 1956). Holder of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Post-graduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned speciality or Super speciality mentioned in Section-A or Section-B in Schedule VI of CHS Rules, 2014 and CHS amendment Rules 2019 i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Pediatrics); or Diplomate National Board (Pediatrics); or Diploma in Pediatrics; or Diploma in Child Health. Three years’ experience in the concerned Specialty or super-speciality after obtaining the first Postgraduate degree or five years’ experience after obtaining the Post-graduate Diploma. Scientist ‘B’ (Neutron Activation Analysis) in Central Forensic Science Laboratory Master degree in Chemistry or Physics or Forensic Science with Chemistry or Physics as one of the subjects during all the three years of Bachelor of Science from a recognized University or Institute. Three years experience of analytical methods and research therein in the field of Neutron Activation Analysis from a government recognized organization or institution. One year experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory under the Central or State Government or Union Territory administration after obtaining the minimum prescribed educational qualifications 35 years

Application Fee For UPSC Archivist (General) Posts

  • Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
  • No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. No “fee exemption” is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
  • Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection would be entertained.
  • Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.
