Educational qualification :
1.Professor (Control System) :
• A PhD Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Control System Engineering/ Embedded System Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/ Controls & Instrumentation Engineering/ Electrical Engineering and experience of ten years of teaching, research and/or industry, out of which at least five years at the level of Assistant Professor/ Reader or equivalent grade OR
• In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:- (a) First Class Master’s degree in Control System Engineering/ Embedded System Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/ Controls & Instrumentation Engineering/ Electrical Engineering. (b) Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a PhD Degree in Control System Engineering/ Embedded System Engineering/Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/ Controls & Instrumentation Engineering/ Electrical Engineering and Industrial/ professional experience of ten years out of which at least five years at a senior level of Assistant Professor/ Reader. Note: Provided that the recognition for significant professional experience shall be valid only if the same is recommended unanimously by a three Member Committee of Experts appointed by the Competent Authority.
Experience:
• Ten years in teaching, research and/or industry, out of which at least five years at the level of Assistant Professor/Reader or equivalent grade.
Desirable:
• Teaching, Research, industrial and /or professional experience in a reputed organization.
• Published work, such as research papers, patents filed/obtained books and/or technical reports.
• Experience of guiding the project work/dissertation of PG/research students or supervising Research & Development projects in industry.
• Demonstrated leadership in planning and organizing academic, research, industrial and/ or professional activities and
• Capacity to undertake/lead sponsored Research & Development consultancy and related activities.
2. Associate Professor (Computer Science) :
• A Ph.D Degree with First class at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science and experience of eight years in teaching, research and/or industry at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree OR (ii) In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:- (a) First class Master’s Degree in Computer Science. (b) Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D Degree in Computer Science and Industrial/ professional experience of eight years in a position equivalent to the level of Lecturer. Note: Provided that the recognition for significant professional experience shall be valid only if the same is recommended unanimously by a three Member Committee of Experts appointed by the Competent Authority.
Experience:
• Eight years in teaching, research and/or industry, at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree.
Desirable:
(i) Teaching, Research, industrial and /or professional experience in a reputed organization. (ii) Published work, such as research papers, patents filed/obtained books and/or technical reports. (iii) Experience of guiding the project work/dissertation of PG/research students or supervising Research & Development projects in industry.
3. Associate Professor (Electrical Engineering) :
• A Ph.D Degree with First class at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and experience of eight years in teaching, research and/or industry at level of Lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree OR (ii) In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essentiala) First class Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. (b) Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D Degree in Electrical Engineering and Industrial/ professional experience of eight years in a position equivalent to the level of Lecturer. Note: Provided that the recognition for significant professional experience shall be valid only if the same is recommended unanimously by a three Member Committee of Experts appointed by the Competent Authority.
Experience:
• Eight years in teaching, research and/or industry, at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade excluding period spent on obtaining research degree.

4. Associate Professor (Electronics & Communication Engineering) :
• A Ph.D Degree with First class at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and experience of eight years in teaching, research and/or industry at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree OR (ii) In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:- (a) First class Master’s Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering. (b) Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a PhD Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Industrial/ professional experience of eight years in a position equivalent to the level of Lecturer. (b) Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial/ professional experience of eight years in a position equivalent to the level of Lecturer. • A Ph.D Degree with First class at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Metallurgy/Production Engineering and experience of eight years of teaching, research and/or industry at level of Lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree OR (ii) In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:- (a) First class Master’s Degree in Metallurgy/ Production Engg. (b)Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D Degree in Metallurgy/ Production Engg. And Industrial/ Professional experience of eight years in a position equivalent to the level of Lecturer. Note: Provided that the recognition for significant professional experience shall be valid only if the same is recommended unanimously by a three Member Committee of Experts appointed by the Competent Authority. (B)
Experience:
• Eight years in teaching, research and/or industry, at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade excluding period spent on obtaining research degree.

7. Tutor in College of Nursing :
• (i) Masters’ degree in Nursing from a recognized University or Institute or (ii) B.Sc. Nursing or Post basic B.Sc. Nursing with one year experience in a Nursing College recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
• Registered as Nurse and Mid-Wife with Central or State Nursing Council
