About WBSSC
WBSSC works under Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms for the government of West Bengal. The function of the Commission is to select persons for direct recruitment the posts and services in the State Govt. establishments under Group B and Group C categories. It also help for the promotion exams of the candidates of Group B and Group C. It also holds periodic typing test on Bengali and English in computers.For this recruitment the LDC/LDA are planned to appoint the selected candidate for the following department: School Education, Personnel & Administrative Reforms, Fisheries, Agricultural Marketing, Irrigation & Waterways, Irrigation & Waterways, Finance (Revenue), Youth Services, Social Welfare, Food Processing Industries & Horticulture, Industrial Training, Correctional Administration.
WBSSC Recruitment LDA/LDC 2016
WBSSC conducted the lower division clerk and its assistant examination for 599 vacancies recently. Examination pattern is of objective type multiple choice questions with no negative marks for wrong answers. WBSSC LDA LDC Exam was in two Parts, Part-1 was consisted of total 100 questions from various sections like English (30), General Studies (40), Arithmetic(30). No negative marking will applicable for wrong answer., and each question carries 1 mark. Time duration for Part-1 Examination is 1 hour and 30 minutes. Part-2 shall consist of conventional type questions on English, and Bengali/ Hindi/ Urdu/ Nepali carrying 50 marks each for section. Time duration of Part-II Examination is 1 hour.
As the candidates who cleared the written examination will attend the Personal Interview round to get selected for the above post.
