Age limit :
• Project Scientist III : 45 Years
• Senior Project Associate : 40 Years
• Project Associate-I : 35 Years
Educational Qualification :
1.Project Scientist III :
• Doctoral Degree Wildlife Science/ Ecology/Biodiversity Conservation/ Forestry or related subjects from a recognized University or equivalent; and
• Seven years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services.
Desirable:
Have publications in peer reviewed journals, experience in GIS/RS software such as ERDAS Imagine, QGIS & ArcGIS, strong modelling and data analytics skills, knowledge of coding in R and/or Python, should have prepared research/technical reports.
2. Senior Project Associate (Ecology) :
• Master’s degree in Wildlife Science/ Ecology/Biodiversity Conservation/ Forestry/ Environmental Sciences or related subjects with ≥4 years’ experience in relevant field.
Desirable:
• Previous experience of wildlife research/ biodiversity assessment and survey. Proven record of writing technical/research report, publishing scientific article in peer-reviewed journal.
3. Senior Project Associate (GIS) :
• Masters Degree in Remote Sensing & GIS/ Geo informatics/ Wildlife Sciences/ Environmental Sciences or related subjects with ≥4 years’ experience in relevant field.
Desirable:
• Have PG Diploma in Remote Sensing & GIS/ Geoinformatics. Prior experience of working in developmental projects especially in elephant landscapes.
4. Project Associate-I :
• Masters’ Degree in Wildlife Science/ Ecology/Biodiversity Conservation/ Forestry/ Anthropology/ Social Sciences /Environmental Sciences or related subjects with ≥1 year experience in relevant field.
Desirable:
• Previous work experience of wildlife survey/ research experience in species identification, natural history of respective taxa (Vegetation/birds, mammals/herpetofauna/ aquatic component, socioeconomic surveys) with strong communication skills.
