Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation is shortly known as HRTC. It is the state run bus service in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. It was founded in the year 1958 as Mandi-Kullu Road Transport Corporation and later it was named as Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation. It has its headquarters at Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. It is one of the first RTCs in India to offer a facility for online booking for all type of buses. This HRTC has adjoining states of Uttarakhand, Chandigarh, Punjab and Delhi. This Corporation was jointly founded by the Government of Punjab, Government of Himachal Pradesh and Railways.
